So I need some decorating tips. I currently have, in my bedroom, pencil sketches hung up that my grandfather gave me. It's a pretty classy set up if I do say so myself. And here is where my dilemma comes in.
I recently came into possession of a certain tin. It's a tin of a Miller Lite Nascar, obviously with a big Miller sign behind it. It kind of looks like this.
This one is currently going for $59.95 on Ebay. Exciting stuff.
But when contrasted with pictures that pretty much solely look like this:
My question is, can I hang up that sign? Or would it just look silly next to all of my other pictures.
I say go for it man, IF you really like the sign, put it up!
ReplyDeleteIf it were an antique looking sign, like a collectors piece then ya go for it. Otherwise I think it would look a bit out of place next to that awesome sketch.
ReplyDelete60 bucks! I'd just stick a piece of paper of some random draw (colored of course).
ReplyDeleteIt'll look cool. I think so.
ReplyDeleteSweet I've been looking for a blog like this. I'll be following.
ReplyDeleteNah I think it will look fine dude.
ReplyDeleteThose are some neat pictures your grandfather has drawn.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeletelooks pretty good man, gonna have to look at it
ReplyDeleteGood tips man
ReplyDeleteHang that sign!
ReplyDeletedo it! i dig it
ReplyDeleteSeems like it would work out fine.
ReplyDeleteas an architecture student, i say it can match. if you're going for a mural collage thing than go for it! later on you can get your hands on more tin sighns, more retro ones as well and then enhance your wall collage so that this sign won't be so lonely :)
ReplyDeletelittle bit expensive
ReplyDeleteYe quite expensive for my liking but still looks cool
ReplyDeleteHang it, and if you think that it doesn't fit take it down, it's your room :P
ReplyDeleteHang it up if it has a place for you to "hang" but if not don't damage it since it might go for more later if you ever decide to sell it.
ReplyDeleteI dunno if I would, personally. There has to be a better place for it.
ReplyDelete60$?!? Too much for it. I think you can find cheaper :)
ReplyDeletevery interesting man!
ReplyDeleteYou could maybe frame the sketches with either the frame or the matting around it with colors on the tin to pull it all together. Black and white photos look awesome contrasted against something red. Or just cluster the sketches together and put the tin at the top in a nice neat order.
